As the Service Design & Transition Chapter Lead you will be responsible for the design and transition management for new projects to be designed for service and successfully delivered to production environment

So what would you be doing?...
•Leading, developing and coach a team of Service Transition Leads to meet the objectives aligned to the Bank’s vision and strategy
•Managing the Transition Pipeline by engaging with the Value stream leads to understand priorities and manage expectation of Service Design & Transition
•Providing regular reporting to management to demonstrate the states of Transition activities.
•Capturing and develop the Transition Plan and track delays in delivery and potential impacts to wider activities
•Centralising engagement and provide planning and contingency support
•Engaging with the Change Advisory Board on the Transition confidence
•Defining, implement and continuously improve the Service Transition process.
•Owning Service Transition processes and ensure these are communicated and followed throughout the IT function.
•Capturing lessons learnt and build improvements into the transition planning against future projects.
•Ensuring the delivery of all IT change projects in the Bank are designed for service and operationally fit for purpose
•Making sure a new IT solution is built based as per the design and meet requirements (Resiliency, Security, Monitoring)

•To be successful in this role you will need sound knowledge effective stakeholder management
•We need you to have IT Operational experience managing large scale/complex infrastructure
•You will need an excellent understanding of Agile and Waterfall
•Naturally, you will need to demonstrate knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL theory and operationally), the various processes which operate within it and the expectations they seek on a transition
•In order to hit the ground running, you will need to be able to understand and document Service Models, Information flow and solution designs
•You will need to collaborate with Configuration Management to build Configuration Items and relationship mappings against new services
