•Assisting with the development of a rigorous control environment, including controls testing and reporting
•Maintaining the rigor of reconciliation and control processes, continually ensuring that anomalies are investigated on a timely basis

We always support colleagues to develop their skills. But to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to do most of these wonderful things...
•Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
•To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to listen and influence / persuade stakeholders
•Naturally, you will be continually developing technical accounting knowledge

•We need you to support and collaborate with the wider finance team on financial reporting activities
•It would be amazing if you have experience in IFRS accounting (although not essential) and an understanding of revenue and cost drivers of bank
