What you will do:

 

The Job Holder will design, secure, and manage production Microsoft end-user platforms, ensuring effective delivery and operation of Microsoft endpoint services across physical and virtual environments
 

  • Endpoint management: configuring Microsoft Intune Intune and Configuration Manager for policies, app delivery and update management
  • Application packaging: Intune/MECM/Win32/MSIX build & lifecycle. PowerShell PSATDK packaging, experience in planning, piloting and releasing through change, supersedence and rollback.
  • Endpoint patching: Ensure security posture of Windows and 3rd‑party updates (Intune/MECM) manage testing and change control for release through deployment rings/rollback, monitor compliance with remediation
  • Production Releases: Plan, document, test and progress changes through release/change management with measurable outcomes.
  • Troubleshooting & support: Provide 3rd‑line support for endpoint platforms; investigate deployment/update issues, analyse data for root cause, partner with Agile value streams, Architecture, and 3rd‑party MSPs (onshore/offshore) to drive fixes.
  • Any other duties as required that reasonably fall within the job

What you will need: 
 

  • OS & platforms: Thorough understanding of Windows 11 management across physical and virtual devices (AVD, Windows 365) able to work in iOS/Mac/BYOD.
  • Microsoft Intune and ConfigMgr administration: Practical experience with administrating endpoint management tools for policies, applications and updates.
  • Azure & M365: Practical experience with Entra/Azure Services and Microsoft 365 relevant to endpoint management, certification preferred.
  • PowerShell: Advanced scripting for automation and reporting, performing complex admin tasks across Microsoft platforms. (Intune/ConfigMgr/MSGraph/PSADTK)
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals AZ-900
  • Experience working with MSPs and internal teams to land changes safely
  • Experience working in strict change control audit
