 What you will do:
 

•    Assist the Internal Cyber Threat and Forensics Investigations Manager to conduct investigations and digital forensic analysis

•    Prepare investigation reports, manage case load, record metrics and produce other output material as required

•    Regularly engage with key customers such as colleague relations, people team, legal and internal fraud to discuss ongoing cases, deliver case outcomes or offer general support to complicated investigations

•    Support and assist with the development of the Insider Risk function

•    Assist in the ongoing development of adversary threat profiles, and management of our tools and techniques to detect and counter these

•    Maintain an understanding of the current threat landscape including but not limited to (malware, botnets, phishing, spam, targeted attacks, geo-political influence and physical security)

•    Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the human behaviour aspects of threat actors, with particular focus on the insider threat

 What you will need: 
 

•    Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders

•    Data Forensic experience such as evidence acquisition, preservation and analysis as well as data recovery and analysis tools

•    Cyber forensic experience, using different cyber security tools such as SIEMs, DLP and proxies to pull necessary log data

•    Data Loss prevention, DSAR experience or financial fraud

•    Digital forensic capabilities, including first responder training or certificates

•    Understanding of cyber security concepts

•    Knowledge of common insider threats and common security controls
