Responsible for liaising with and supporting our Commercial Customers with ongoing product services, whilst also supporting value-adding activities to ensure annual financial and risk objectives are achieved.
What you will do:
- You will complete Annual renewals and Credit Applications.
- You will process all EDD and High Risk ODDs and Requests for Information within the allocated timeframe, whilst also managing all low and medium risk ODDs relating to the team within the renewal dates.
- You will process all Covenants and Conditions Subsequent as they fall due and escalate appropriately with Credit if the covenants are not going to be met.
- You will gather information from the customer; assess, analyse and interpret financial information such as financial statements, management accounts, profit and loss statements.
- You will develop and maintain key relationships with other departments such as Credit, Lending & Securities, Lending Operations, Financial Crime Risk & Controls and Regional Teams.
- You will act with integrity at all times and set the tone as an advocate of Metro Bank, so as to be considered a role model for the Large Trading Business Team and Metro Bank when dealing with customers, intermediaries and colleagues.
- You will work with customers and new to bank customers, building relationships and opportunity spotting and delivery of support and services.
- You will deliver on personal financial performance objectives.

- You will have the ability to demonstrate credit, analytical and numerical skills
- Knowledge of the commercial lending process, from start to completion.
- You will manage multiple responsibilities within a quick and ever changing environment with the ability to prioritise and negotiate constantly.
- You will have direct involvement with developing relationships both internally and externally at a range of different seniority levels.
