We are already in Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford & Sheffield and we want to expand by building 11 more sites in the North between now & the end of 2025 – in your local area, you’ll work with your Local Director & Business Manager to create fans in the SME marketplace!


What you will do:

• As a Commercial Relationship Manager here at Metro Bank, you will be a first point of contact for existing commercial customers, managing and building relationships within their portfolios

• You will be contributing to the overall commercial deposits, lending and risk strategy by developing existing, and building new, customer relationships through exemplary customer service and knowledge of Metro Bank products

• Relationship manage a customer portfolio of c150 connections and complete annual credit reviews within agreed time frame

• Help on-board an agreed number of new-to-bank commercial relationships within Metro Bank's risk appetite

What you will need: 

• Proven relationship manager experience, providing exceptional customer service to existing and potential customers in order to generate new income lines and deposit and lending opportunities

•  An ability to grow and deepen our existing relationships by way of attracting further deposits and switchers, with the vision of contributing to the growth of your businesses/portfolios

• Great analytical skills; the ability to review and analyse financial accounts and other relevant documentation

• Excellent knowledge of commercial banking and a deep understanding of the products we offer

• Awareness of Know Your Customer (KYC) & Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements as well as Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), solid knowledge of AML criteria and requirements
