 What you will do:
 

•   Providing excellent technical production support to colleagues at all levels 

•   Working with T24 software in production

•   Looking after our core banking application by identifying and fixing defects 

•   Supporting the team with major incidents and resolving IT tickets within agreed timeframes

•   Working closely with your team, and with colleagues at all levels to deliver incredible results

•   Working with the business analysts to develop effective business processes to accompany large scale application changes

 What you will need: 
 

•   Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders

•   Solid experience working with T24 Live Support and Development

•   Experience in Unix/Linux is mandatory

•   Knowledge of shell Script and sql scripting

•   Experience with Retail banking. Good understanding of technical transactional processing (CHAPS, Internal Payment, SWIFT, Interest charges)

•   You should have a good track record of being able to provide resolution to various issues arising from Users and the system
