Our Testing team play a vital role in building and looking after accurate testing environments for IT colleagues across the Bank. As a Test Programme Manager you will be responsible for test delivery for a portfolio of work. You will make sure that testing services delivered to this area align with our objectives, while keeping to plan and budget and creating fans along the way.
So what would you be doing?...
• Working closely with the Change team, making sure that suppliers are delivering testing on projects
• Reviewing and approving completed testing, including giving test approval for production deployment
• Investigating incidents that come up from any gaps in testing and making improvements to prevent future occurrences
• Working with project and test managers on resource planning – making sure that supply and demand figures are accurate
• Making sure that defects are resolved effectively

• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
• In order to exceed in this role, you will have lots of experience working as a lead within a programme test management function, looking after multiple concurrent projects
• It’s also really important that you have a strong background in test management, including automation and performance
• A background working on digital programmes would be ideal
• You will have experience of working with suppliers using an offsite / onshore model
• You will probably have a relevant degree in a numerate discipline or an ISTQB qualification
• It would also be really handy if you have any retail banking experience or knowledge
