As a Resourcer, you will be part of our amazing Recruitment team and you will be responsible for supporting our Recruiters to identify, attract and shortlist candidates to fulfil roles within our Specialist areas using online and networking methods. You will be an Ambassador of the Metro Bank brand, our culture, values and provide an exceptional candidate experience at every opportunity and help us create more fans. 

Depending on the team, most of our roles offer flexible working.

So what you would be doing?

• Supporting the In House Recruiters by researching, identifying and attracting candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy job requirements 
• Write, post and update adverts in line with Metro Bank policy 
• Monitor responses/applications received and make sure that candidate’s applications are processed efficiently 
• Screen, qualify, shortlist and present suitable candidates against defined job descriptions, as well as maintaining an excellent candidate experience 
• Assist Recruiters in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with external candidates, colleagues and hiring managers (as well as any other stakeholders) where required
• Initiate, manage and develop candidate relationships and build a network
• Understand and meet agreed KPIs and targets
• Provide support where appropriate to ensure that the candidates and Business stakeholders receive a professional, amazing and comprehensive recruitment service at all times
• Develop an understanding of market intelligence regarding salaries/ rates and conditions within your sector
• Seek and provide feedback in a professional and timely manner to candidates
• Continuously looking for ways to enhance the candidate recruitment journey

• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
• We need you to have recent experience working as a Recruiter/ Resourcer/ Researcher in a fast-paced organisation
• You will be familiar with the recruitment lifecycle
• Ideally you will have experience resourcing in business areas such as Technology/ Change/ Risk and Finance 
• You will have extensive experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems i.e. Avature, Taleo 
• You will have experience using various job board, LinkedIn Recruiter to source CVs
• Have excellent administration experience and be able to organise your work and time effectively
• Exceptional Microsoft skills, especially diary scheduling using Outlook is important
• You need to have experience of liaising with colleagues, internally and externally and be comfortable having challenging conversations
• You will be a self motivated individual who is tenacious and resilient
• You will have excellent attention to detail 

Important Footnote Diverse teams really are the best teams.
