Are you passionate about getting things done? Do you like the minor details? Then we have the perfect role for you. Our Operations Team keep a watchful eye over a full range of cases at the beginning of the process, ensuring that we have all the info so that we can make the best lending decisions.

You will lead, coach and develop a team of Specialists to ensure that they process cases quickly, but always with the highest attention to detail. Providing an amazing experience for customers and colleagues alike, will be the priority and motivation behind all of the work that you do!

So what would you be doing?...

• Day to day leadership and development of the growing Operations team
• Coaching the team to ensure that MCOB (Mortgage Conduct of Business) is understood and  followed
• Take bump ups from the team and be a real expert for mortgage operations, taking ownership on Customer, RM, Broker and Solicitor queries
• Support other Team Leaders and the wider department with all matters relating to the mortgage life cycle
• Monitor, manage & report on tasks and workflow for the team and ensuring that data is accurate

• An inspiring leader, someone who is motivated to develop and grow our colleagues
• An experienced mortgage professional, perhaps you have worked at another bank or competitive lender
• Ideally you will have experience of using DPR or other origination systems
• An operations background, passionate about process and the ability to make improvements to our customer experience
• An experienced and confident leader, the ability to support and guide colleagues on all matters relating to the underwriting and completion of mortgages
• Experience of delivering decisions on enquiries and new applications

• This role is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime.
