Due to continues success, we are growing our Mortgage Intermediary Team here at Metro Bank and as a result have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager covering North West London / Home Counties. In this role you will be the face of Metro Bank for the mortgage broking community. You will be responsible for delivering an amazing service to all of our intermediary customers, creating fans from everyone you speak to!
This role is field based – meaning you will be home based, with occasional head office visits, but covering a patch of North West London, Harrow, Uxbridge and Watford.
So what would you be doing?...
•Managing our existing intermediary relationships, as well as developing new ones
•Identifying new opportunities, whilst developing and maintaining strong business relationships
•Working with brokers on new and existing cases
•Making sure we always provide an amazing service to our customers at every touch point and constantly looking for ways we can improve our processes
•Planning and organizing intermediary panel development

•Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
•Excellent mortgage product and policy knowledge, as well as a good understanding of the competition
•Previous experience in a mortgage role, covering the ‘patch’ noted
•Proven relationship and stakeholder management experience
•Up to date knowledge of compliance and other regulatory issues
•CeMap qualified (or an overseas equivalent qualification)
•Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
•Understanding of/Exposure to the intermediary or direct mortgage sector
•Confidence working independently
