As an Integration Engineer, you will be part of our amazing IT Operations team, who look after all our technology within production support. You will specifically be looking after our integration technology (IIB) that makes sure all our wonderful technologies are able to communicate with each other seamlessly and effectively. You will respond to all issues relating to IIB and apply your expertise to troubleshoot and solve them.

• Implementing best practice for IBM Integration Bus
• Raising defects and managing progress until implementation
• Making sure the stability and resilience of multiple systems communicate with each other
• Building a better experience for colleagues and customers
• Helping to reduce costs by offering specialist knowledge on IBM technology and being able to quickly resolve issues
• Performing problem determination tasks for IIB

• Naturally, you need to have experience working as an Integration Engineer within a production support environment
• Knowledge of how to install, secure, administer, maintain and deploy IBM & MQ Integration Bus is essential for this role
• An understanding of high availability configuration, including multi-instancing of IBM & MQ Integration Bus
• Know how to monitor the health of IIB, as well as making recommendations on performance and resource optimisation
• It would be amazing if you had experience with Kafka
