As the Digital Release Manager, you will be responsible for handling the release management Lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of the releases across the enterprise for multiple applications and various Value streams.

So what would you be doing?...
• Implementing and managing the release process for code through development, test and production environments
• Measuring and monitoring progress to ensure releases are delivered on time and within budget meeting expectations
• Conducting release readiness reviews, milestones reviews and Business Go/No/Go reviews & release retrospectives
• Managing risks and resolving issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
• Communicating all key project plans, commitments, and changes including QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
• Communicating release details and schedules to the business as required
• Participating in CAB meetings to present production releases
• Negotiating, planning and managing all release activities

• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
• You must have astute knowledge of Release life-cycles
• You will need experience with managing application updates, hardware upgrades, security improvements, projects and programs within a multi business stream environment
• It is essential you have an understanding of Infrastructure, architecture and appreciative of DEV OPS tooling
• Ideally, you will have experience working in Agile environments
• You will need exposure to Backbase, Jboss, Tomcat, Oracle Data base, linux, unix, IBM service bus stack and AWS public cloud networks
