As the Commercial Analyst Manager you will lead a team of Commercial Analysts responsible for processing large volumes of credit applications efficiently and recognising those which sit within our appetite, You will utilise your delegated lending authority, ensure your team understand and adhere to our credit decision-making framework and participate in the delivery of amazing customer service to existing and prospective customers
You will work closely with our Business Development colleagues, Introducers, Suppliers and Customers, creating an experience to convert them all to fans

So what would you be doing?...
•You will lead and inspire a team of Commercial Analysts, providing coaching and support to ensure the team achieve their objectives, deliver AMAZEING customer service and work within our control framework. You will support your team with complex bump ups as the expert
•The focal part of your day-to-day role is to consider applications from brokers or Business Development colleagues against your delegated lending authority.
•You will enhance your Business Development colleagues relationships with their brokers
•You may occasionally visit customers alongside Business Development colleagues, which gives you the opportunity to obtain a clearer understanding of their background (getting to know our customers), how they want Metro Bank to help them and consequently, how you can surprise and delight them with your product knowledge and AMAZEING service
•Gather information from the customer or broker; assess, analyse and interpret financial information such as financial statements, management accounts, profit and loss statements
•Have awareness of TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) at all times
•Prepare and submit annual reviews for consideration by the credit team

• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
Experience of working in a role within the Asset Finance industry, preferably in a leadership or senior role and an in depth understanding of the Asset Finance industry and SME lending
•Experience of building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
•Excellent credit, analytical and numerical skills
•A working knowledge of risk management and experience of undertaking risk assessment analysis
Experience of developing auto decisioning scorecards would be desirable
